How is it performed?

The Perfect 10 Peel is performed in-office. Generally, the chemical peel takes about 20-30 minutes. Here is what you can expect: 

1. Firstly, the skin will be cleansed and prepped. 
2. Then, we will apply the facial peel. During this process, we apply the peel in layers until we achieve the desired endpoint.
3. After reaching the desired endpoint, the resurfacing facial peel will be neutralized and a retinol complex serum will be applied to the treatment area. This retinol complex will be left on for 6-8 hours, or as directed by your provider. 
4. Next, we will cleanse the skin. 
5. Facial peeling typically begins 2 days after the treatment and will last for about a week.

 

Recovery

Two days after receiving a chemical peel, you will begin to experience peeling. Your skin may feel tight, and appear blotchy or red. Some people may also experience slight swelling. Peeling typically lasts about one week.
